FACTS & FIGURES

The Greater Glendive Community Foundation is in a great position to help you set aside money for Dawson County because it is under the umbrella of the Montana Community Foundation. This way, you can be sure that any money you choose to give or bequest to GGCF is professionally managed. A committee of the local GGCF will give out the earnings through grants to local organizations or your designated non-profit.

$110,622 has been granted to 32 projects through local nonprofits since 2008. In 2017 $35,000 was raised for the lifesize bronze "Born to Hunt" in the "Welcome to Glendive" triangle Park at 1100 N Merrill, thanks to generous donations in memory of Ty Milne. Greater Glendive has secured $33,500 in grant funds for Downtown Master Plan and improvement projects. In 2018 GGCF invested $6500 in the underpass beautification project.

All donations are tax-deductible. Gifts may be made in memory or in honor of someone and can be anonymous, if you wish. Gifts made by a business or corporation qualify for the Montana Endowment Tax Credit.
